The SAGS Saxophone Quartet has built up an outstanding reputation since its debut at the Brucknerhaus Linz in 2021. The four musicians bring outstanding technical skills and versatile expertise in new music, music theater and music education. They are now bringing together their experience at renowned festivals such as the Salzburg Festival to form the SAGS Quartet.

The repertoire includes a mixture of classical and contemporary works, which are presented in unique performances. Each program is well thought out and deals with themes such as the fusion of music and language, culture, home and emotions. Sonja Wallnöfer, Greta Franzelin, Sonja Oberkofler and Alex Designori are a well-rehearsed team whose creativity goes beyond technical precision.
