Best of S.T.S. & Austropop - On A Word

Since 2014, Auf A Wort has once again expanded its repertoire. The band can now also be booked with the Best of Austropop program! The best of STS is complemented by a veritable firework of hits by Austropop greats such as Reinhard Fendrich, Wolfgang Ambros, Georg Danzer (or Austria3), Peter Cornelius, Hubert von Goisern, EAV and Co. Songs by new, current Austropop bands such as Wanda, Seiler&Speer, Pizzera&Jaus have also found their way into the program - an exuberant party atmosphere is guaranteed!

Numerous, very successful performances have already been completed with this program. A live CD with the title Best of Austropop was also released, and the interim highlight in the band's success story, which has now lasted for over 10 years, took place on 18.04.2016 in the sold-out, legendary Circus Krone building in Munich, the venue where the original Austropop artists were also guests!

This event was topped once again by an open-air concert as part of the Augustini Festival on 23.08.2019 in A-Fürstenfeld. Auf A Wort had the great honor of giving a much-acclaimed concert here in the home of the T of STS, Günter Timischl, at the packed Augustinerplatz and that also happened to be 35 years after the first release of the cult song Fürstenfeld. This highlight was repeated in 2021!
