From the sports field at Weerberg, the route follows a circular trail through the Weerberg high plateau, passing numerous hilltops along the way.

Path surface:	Starts as a dirt track, then becomes a footpath, turning into a forest track, and the rest is a pavement (local road)
Directions:	Route: Park your car in the car park by the sports field. There is a large fountain just above the sports field. Follow the road to the left and, after approx. 150 m, leave the road at the “Besenlehen” farm (follow the signs for “Astenweg”). The walk now takes you past several old and distinctive Mitterberg Asten (wooden huts) heading west. Once you reach the highest point (Upper Schneideraste), please keep to the right and walk down the Hilmweg to the Angerer guesthouse (follow the signs for “Neue Rodelbahn, Pension Angerer”). There, the Wegscheid Chapel invites you to take a short break. You then walk back along the footpath towards the east to the starting point.
