Weer is a small, contemplative and inviting village, situated at an altitude of 558 metres above sea level and with about 1500 inhabitants. The municipality is surrounded by a fascinating mountain world and embedded in forests and meadows

From Weer you can easily and quickly reach the lush alpine meadows and further on to the peaks of the Karwendelgebirge and the Tuxer Voralpen. You will never forget these mountain experiences.

Away from the mountains, you will also find activities in the valley which provide a lot of fun for the whole family. For example, the nearby lake or the upside-down world and the butterfly house in Terfens. You will also find famous sights in the vicinity of the silver region of Karwendel, which are easily accessible from Weer.
