The "Climate Insight & Outlook Trail" at Vomperberg is a classic nature trail on which you can learn interesting facts about the climate of our earth.

Since 2009, the "Climate Nature Trail" has been bringing visitors closer to the problems and dangers of global warming, to the history of our planet and to our environment. From late March until early November, this easy and well-prepared trail is a great experience for families and nature lovers. Children in particular are made aware of the topic by the 20 educational panels and informed in the simplest possible way. The starting point and the destination of the circular hike is at the Karwendelrast inn, where you can also enjoy a cosy and rustic stopover. The location of the trail has been deliberately chosen for its easy route and leads through the forest as well as through beautiful sections with panoramic views of the opposite Tuxer Alps and the Inntal. In summer, a guided walk through the nature trail can also be arranged by appointment.
Directions: Autobahn A12 exit Vomp, from there to the village centre of Vomp. At the municipal building go left and uphill over Gröben street to the Vomperberg plateau. There navigate to house Vomperberg 55 (Gasthof Karwendelrast). Free parking next to the inn.
