Beautiful panoramic views of the Karwendel and Weerberg with its old farmhouses

You can park your car in the parking lot near the sports field. Directly above the sports field there is a large fountain. Follow the road to the left and after approx. 150 m leave the road at the "Besenlehen" farm (follow the signs to "Astenweg").

The hike now leads westwards past several old and marked Mitterberg Asten (wooden huts). At the highest point (upper Schneideraste) please keep right and walk down the Hilmweg to Pension Angerer (follow the signs "Neue Tobelbahn, Pension Angerer"). There the road separation chapel invites you for a short rest. Stop at the Huaberhof opposite. Then walk back east on the pavement to the starting point, past the Gasthof Schwannerwirt (refreshment point).
