The powder snow dusts up when you whiz around the bend on freshly waxed runners. A brisk tobogganing session is simply part of a winter vacation in Tyrol. The Silberregion Karwendel with its 15 toboggan runs is a true tobogganing paradise.

In addition to runs for every ability and all speeds, a special highlight awaits toboggan fans: the longest toboggan run in North Tyrol can be found high above the silver city of Schwaz and ensures pure tobogganing pleasure. From the Hecherhaus on the Kellerjoch, the top station of the local ski area at an altitude of 1,887 m, you toboggan nine kilometers down into the valley to the medieval Freundsberg Castle. The new facility - not only top in terms of preparation and snow safety - has already been awarded the Tyrolean natural toboggan run seal of approval.
