The solar system - artfully depicted - can now be explored on a leisurely hike through the Terfner valley forest, the Forchat.

The car can be parked at the elementary school in Vomperbach, opposite the church. The place, through which the path winds, is something special, because the development of a pine forest in the valley area is a rarity. At the beginning of the hike, the planet Sun is spectacularly set up with a diameter of 14 meters. You now follow the planet on a circular route through the forest, which ends at the smallest planet, the Pluto, again near the starting point. Information boards give an insight into the nature of the individual planets. The planets are not only shown in the "correct" size, the distances also correspond to the scales. The route is ideally laid out with its beautiful views of the mountain world of the Tux Prealps and the Karwendel as well as the Inn Valley. Benches invite you to rest.
