From the meeting point at the Karwendelrast car park, equipped with headlamps, you first head into the forest and follow the glow of the headlamps towards the Puitner Stüberl, a truly mystical experience to visit the snow-covered forest in the dark.
Once you arrive at the Puitner Stüberl, you have the opportunity to sit down and warm up with a warm meal or tea before heading back to the starting point.
Don't worry: if the snow conditions don't allow it, the snowshoes are exchanged for snow spikes and the night-time forest is visited in the form of a winter hike.
