  • From car park P2, cross the road
  • Follow the path to the entrance to Johannestal
  • Then head south-west into the valley to the foot of the northern Suhlkopf
  • From here, return to the car park.

    • Take the A12 Achensee motorway exit
    • follow the Achensee-Bundesstraße B181 to the Achenpass border crossing into Bavaria (307) to Sylvensteinsee,
    • turn left towards Vorderriss, turn left towards Hinterriss, and after about 10 kilometres you will have reached your destination.
