Snowshoe hiking weeks Safe fun in the snow

10 - 31.01.2026

Untouched, glistening and knee-deep snow fields, breathtakingly beautiful mountains and above them a glistening sun and an azure blue sky: these are the ingredients for an unforgettable winter experience away from the slopes from 10 - 31.01.2026 in the Silberregion Karwendel. Snowshoeing has long since established itself here as the perfect balance to everyday life, the hustle and bustle and well-trodden paths.

Experience guided snowshoe hikes through the snow-covered winter landscape with a guide and then return to the valley on a toboggan through the forest. A special highlight is the romantic tobogganing by torchlight in the evening - ideal for warming up afterwards with a hot drink. Other highlights of the snowshoe hiking weeks include snowshoe yoga and a varied Snowshoe Olympics with activities such as snowshoe biathlon, a beep search competition and much more. All these wonderful experiences can be wonderfully combined with each other.

In addition to the offer during the snowshoe hiking weeks, there are 20 signposted routes throughout the region, which will take you to hidden corners of the Inn Valley, to the sunny plateaus in the Tux Prealps, the high valleys and alpine pastures of the Karwendel. Here you can still discover the unknown beauty of winter between the Tux Alps and the Karwendel.
