Imagine: fresh winter air, the crunch of snow under your feet and a breathtaking mountain backdrop. That's exactly what the snowshoe hiking weeks in the Karwendel Silver Region offer - and much more! From 11 January to 1 February 2025, you will have the opportunity to discover the Karwendel Silver Region in a very special way.
Untouched, glistening and knee-deep snow fields, breathtakingly beautiful mountains and above them a glistening sun and an azure blue sky: these are the ingredients for an unforgettable winter experience away from the pistes in the Karwendel Silver Region. Snowshoeing has long since established itself here as the perfect balance to everyday life, hustle and bustle and well-trodden paths. 20 signposted routes take you to hidden corners of the Inn Valley, to the sunny plateaus in the Tux Pre-Alps, the high valleys and alpine pastures of the Karwendel. Here you can still discover the unknown beauty of winter between the Tux Alps and the Karwendel.
On Tuesday, you can hike through the snow-covered winter landscape on snowshoes with a guide and then toboggan back down into the valley through the forest. Tobogganing by torchlight on Wednesday evening is particularly romantic, where you can warm up with a hot drink afterwards. All these wonderful things can be wonderfully combined in the programme.
