Nonsjöchl from Hausstatt

Avalanche risk: low
Departure: In the area of the ascent track and in safe avalanche conditions in eastern direction to the Lafasteralmweg and via this back to the starting point.
Starting point: Weerberg, car park Hausstatt (parking fee € 3,-- / day); or from "Centrum Weerberg" (see variant below).

Route description: Parking spaces in the Hausstatt area. On the right side of the ski slope to the top station of the ski lift at 1,520 m. Turn right into the forest road, after 500 m turn left into the ''Saugrasweg'' (drawing path). Through the forest until the ascent track leads to the wide high trail at 1,750 m. Cross the mountain path and follow the ascent track through the Swiss stone pine forest. At 1900 m Nonsberg (ridge). Follow the ascent track over the flat ridge; another short, steep climb.

Variation: If snow conditions are good, this tour can be started from the centre of the village at an altitude of 880 m above sea level. Parking spaces available on the south side of the ''Centrum Weerberg'' (town hall). Start south side of the ''Centrum'', cross the narrow residential street in direction S and climb over the meadow to the Hausstatt, approx. 370 height meters more. The longer descent is definitely worth the effort.
