And this is how it works:
The Silberzehner is available from almost all banks in the region for €10 each. This is given as a voucher coin to a person, who in turn can redeem the Silberzehner at around 300 businesses (acceptance points) in the region and receive a value of €10.
The business (point of acceptance) can exchange the Silberzehner at the banks in the Silberregion Karwendel and receives the equivalent value 1:1 at no additional cost. The Silberzehner therefore works like cash.
As a gift for employees, the Silberzehner is tax-free up to an amount of €186 per year and employee. This could be the ideal Christmas, birthday or anniversary gift for companies.
