The Kellerjochbahn double chairlift takes you up to the mountain station at 1887 meters. Well-maintained hiking trails take you to the picturesque Kellerjochhütte with breathtaking views of the surrounding Tux Alps. The way back leads along the ascent route back to the Kellerjochbahn mountain station - alternatively, it is also possible to descend on foot to the valley station.

The hike is free of charge. Lift tickets must be paid for on site

A comfortable taxi ride takes you to the Weidener Hütte at 1799 m above sea level. From there, you have the opportunity to explore the beautiful landscape on numerous hikes. Popular destinations include the nearby Nafingsee, the Geiseljoch, the Hubertusspitze or the Rastkogel.

Pleasure hike over the Lamsenjoch to the alpine village of Eng

We meet at the Stans swimming pool parking lot. From there we take a cab to the Bärenrast. Accompanied by our guide, this beautiful hike leads from the Bärenrast through an impressive ravine forest before heading across extensive alpine pastures into the high alpine mountains to the Lamsenjochhütte (1,935m). This tour is designed as a crossing and leads right into the heart of the Karwendel Nature Park - the largest nature park in Austria. After an extensive lunch break at the Lamsenjochhütte, we descend into the Eng - the largest alpine village in Tyrol - in the direction of Großer Ahornboden.

We return at 15:30 from the Eng parking lot with the Silberregion Karwendel hiking bus.

Walking time: approx. 6 h (3.5 h ascent, 2.5 h descent)

Distance: 12.5 km (8 km ascent, 4.5 km descent)

Sure-footedness and fitness for 1,000 m ascent are required.
