You will be amazed how cheese is made following the old recipes and methods

A special attraction is the show dairy. Here the tasty Enger mountain cheese is produced, following the recipe and of course you can also try and taste the award-winning Eng Alm mountain cheeses. Every morning visitors have the opportunity to watch the master cheesemaker at work. In a large copper kettle approx. 1,600 loafs of alpine cheese are produced annually.

The alpine meadows with their many different herbs offer the cows a healthy and natural diet and thus lead to an excellent source product, the milk, for our alpine cheese.

The mountain cheese and semi-hard cheese produced in the cheese dairy is offered for tasting and sale in the nearby farm shop after ripening in the cheese store.
