Panoramarundweg from Schwaz to Pill
...

The entrance to the Schiller-Mensi-Weg or the Björnson Runde is directly at the parking lot of Freundsberg Castle. Following this it goes towards Pill, again and again with a wonderful view over the valley, especially the Karwendel. From here you can see the size and thickness of the Karwendelstock. This route is accompanied by a bird trail, which provides information about the local bird world.
The path goes imperceptibly downhill to the crossing of the asphalted Arzberg road, back onto Björnson Weg and finally onto Piller Hubertusweg.
Passing brooks and resting places, one finally walks above the main road to the centre of Pill.
Once there, you can stop off at the Gasthof Klausen or the Gasthof Michlkeller (Hotel Plankenhof) opposite.
Return on foot for the first stretch along the Hubertusweg in the direction of Schwaz, the silver town, until you reach the junction "Björnsen Weg". Follow the path on the left (you must enjoy the view of the monastery) and climb slightly uphill in Pirchanger, back to Freundsberg Castle. Pleasant and simply panoramic round with beautiful views!

If you like, you can walk down from Pirchanger to the city centre, look at the historic buildings and walk back to Freundsberg Castle.

Without any notable difference in altitude, you can enjoy the wonderful silence and coolness of the forest above the roofs of Schwaz. One of the most important sights of the silver town of Schwaz, Freundsberg Castle, can also be visited.
