Mauritzalm
Gastronomy
The Mauritzalm is a beautiful stopping place for refreshments, located within 10 minutes’ walk above the mountain station of the Rofan cable car, with a wonderful panoramic terrace. The mountain hut sells homemade bacon, and during the summer grazing season butter, raw milk and buttermilk. There is also a hut shop.

Recommendable for Mauritzalm
Maurach - Bergstation Rofan Seilbahn - Maurach
Strenuous ascent from the valley station to the top station of the Rofan cable car at 1,840 metres. The trail covers an elevation gain of 850 metres in ca. 2.5 hours and rewards hikers with a choice of three mountain huts at the summit.
