Via ferrata
Impressive, short via ferrata through a natural cave in the Karwendel mountains.
One of the first via ferratas in Tirol, it was completely renovated in 2002 and offers beautiful views of the Hüttenturm and the Lamsenspitze (2,508 metres). The most outstanding passage is the via ferrata section in the cave. You exit the cave via a steep step through a large hole in the rock face.

| Approach: | From the Lamsenjochhütte (ca. 1.5 hours walk from the Gramai), follow the path to the Lamsenspitze for a little until you arrive at a junction. Follow the sign to Brudertunnel and climb to the starting point which is ca. 30 minutes from the Lamsenjochhütte. |

| Getting there: | By car to the Gramai Alm. From Pertisau at the beginning of the Nature Park Karwendel, a toll road leads to the Gramai Alm (open until 9 November 2025). From the Gramai, you can hike for about 2 hours on a good hiking trail to the Lamsenjochhütte. |
| Public transport: | Take the regional bus (lines 8332 or 390) to the toll station at the entrance to the Karwendel valleys in Pertisau and get off at the "Pertisau Karwendeltäler" stop. | Descent: | From the exit, follow the trail in a westerly direction to the Lamsenscharte (2,279 metres). From here, either continue to the summit of the Lamsenspitze or walk down the secured trail under the east face of the Lamsenspitze to the Lamsenkar and continue to the hut, ca. 1 hour. |
