Approach:From the top station of the Rofan cable car in Maurach, follow the signposted trail in the direction of Hochiss until you see the sign "Abzweigung Klettersteig".

Getting there:The valley station of the Rofan cable car is located directly on the Achensee federal road B181, above the centre of Maurach.
Public transport:Take the regional bus (line 8332, 4080 or 390) to the Rofan cable car in Maurach. Exit at the bus-stop: Maurach a. A. Rofan Seilbahn. Ascent with the Rofan cable car.
Descent:From the summit, descend on the signposted hiking trail back to the top station of the Rofan cable car.
