Pertisau - Pletzachalm - Gern Alm - Pertisau
Hut & alpine pasture hiking
Starting in Pertisau, this walk leads through the gentle Gerntal Valley in the Karwendel Nature Park – via the Pletzachalm to the Gern Alm at the end of the valley, out and back.
From the toll booth at the entrance to the Karwendel valleys (952 metres) turn right and walk along the Seebergsteig trail. Follow the signpost to the Pletzachalm mountain hut (1,040 metres, time ca. 1 hour). In continue to the Gern Alm mountain hut (1,172 metres), turn right before the Pletzachalm and follow the scenic trail through the forest. The return is via the same route.At a Glance | |

| Getting there: | Take the B181 Achensee main road to Maurach and turn off towards Pertisau. At the entrance to Pertisau, take the first road on the left uphill towards the Karwendel cable car. Pass the cable car and continue straight ahead until you reach the large car park at the entrance to the Karwendel valleys (Nature Park Karwendel). |
