A Tour around Vomperberg

The high plateau above the market town of Vomp is a wonderful excursion destination at any time of the year.

The wonderful view of the Tuxer Alps from the steep roads between the farms invites you to a round tour. The starting point is the village square in Vomp (parking spaces for a fee), from there the route starts steeply over "Gröben" up to the plateau for about 15 minutes. There is a cosy opportunity for refreshment at the Gasthof Karwendelrast, you can enjoy a stylish hut snack in the "Rachkuchl".Down in the village the Gasthof Pelikan and the Vomperhof invite you to rest.
