The high plateau above the market town of Vomp is a wonderful excursion destination at any time of the year.
The wonderful view of the Tuxer Alps from the steep roads between the farms invites you to a round tour. The starting point is the village square in Vomp (parking spaces for a fee), from there the route starts steeply over "Gröben" up to the plateau for about 15 minutes. The “Puitner Stüberl” is a cozy place to stop for refreshments on the Vomperberg. At the bottom of the village, the Gasthof Pelikan and the Hotel Vomperhof invite you to take a break.At a Glance | |
