The hike offers stunning views of the Karwendel Mountains’ impressive rock faces, which tower above the Stallental valley. From Stallenboden, you can often spot chamois on the rock faces.

Directions:	Route description: Drive through the village of Fiecht towards St. Georgenberg, past the Weng car park, until you reach a small, isolated farm on the right. The tarmac road gives way to a gravel track until the turn-off to the Bärenrast car park branches off to the right. Now it is time to leave the car and walk along the romantic forest path to the Stallenalm. Soon the impressive rock faces of the Karwendel mountains with their huge boulders come into view. From the Stallenboden, you can often spot chamois on the rock faces. From the Stallenalm, follow either a hiking trail or a rough, gravelly mountain road, following the signposts to the Lamsenjochhütte. This ascent will take you about 2 hours. The return journey follows the same route.
