From the Eng to the Lamsenjoch Cabin
...
Fantastic views garnished with tempting refreshment stops!
The hike to the Lamsenjochhütte and back can be combined to a varied round trip, during which you can admire the magnificent Karwendel panorama on every meter. From the green soil of the Eng it goes through various vegetation zones up to the high region. There - in a unique position, framed by wildly serrated rock formations - stands the classic alpine club hut, which offers not only protection and accommodation but also hearty Tyrolean food. Of course, you should also allow time for a rest on the way back. It sits well on the sunny terrace in front of the Binsalm.
From the car park over to the Engalmen, Tyrol's largest alpine village with show dairy and inn. On the beautifully laid out panorama path towards Binsalm. Above it you follow the hiking trail through green soils up to the western Lamsenjoch. Beyond the saddle in an almost level traverse high above the Falzthurntal to the Lamsenjochhütte, 1953 m. When descending over the Binsalm and from there either on the wide road or the shortcut (marked with a dashed line on the map) through the Binsgraben back into the Eng. The hike can also be taken by families, depending on the condition of the children.
