Situated at 1,953 metres – at the foot of the Lamsenspitze, right in the heart of the Karwendel.

The Lamsenjochhütte is a historic DAV mountain hut in the Karwendel, at an altitude of 1,953 metres. First built in 1906, it was rebuilt in 1908 following avalanche damage – today it is modernly equipped and has been awarded the environmental seal of approval.

• Popular with hikers and day trippers: accessible from Engalm or Gramaialm
• Impressive neighbour: the Lamsenspitze (for experienced mountaineers only)
