Practise Climbing Garden Jenbach
Indoor climbing centres

The practice climbing garden in Jenbach is a result of the need for a possibility to teach children and rookies the basics of rock climbing.

Since this rock has been used for many years by children and some adults from the surrounding area for easy bouldering, it was obvious to provide safety devices for it and to use it for training purposes.

The actual climbing garden consists of two sectors, which can be distinguished by the type of safety hooks used. The two sectors are connected by a transverse passage with a climbing length of approx. 28m and at the end leads over the most difficult part of the left sector to the exit.

In order to enable training on the rock, intermediate stands were built into the wall, which allow controlled practice of advance, stand construction and independent abseiling.

Below the climbing garden there is a children's playground, a football field and a large meadow where even larger groups can safely stay.
