A traditional excursion site for young and old

The "Pflanzgarten" (plant garden; forest enclosure) in the southeast of the city has been a popular excursion and recreation area for generations for the people of Schwaz and their guests. In the recent past, cultural events ("Schwazer Silberwald"), sporting facilities (Fitnessparcours FIT2000) and playfully oriented facilities (children's playground, near-natural ball games) have been added to the offer and adapted and modernised.

Directions:
from the Rennhammergasse southeast of the cemetery (St. Martin) uphill to the barrier. Signposts "Pflanzgarten" or "Silberwald". There is a free parking lot at the end of the driveway.
