A wonderful, easy walk in the Tux Alps takes you through a stunning natural landscape, offering you sweeping views of the plateaus and striking peaks opposite at every turn.

Directions:Route description:
  • From Hüttegg, follow Zellerstraße towards Nonsalm.
  • On the Nonsweg, you pass the Achereraste and Scheibenaste until you finally reach the open pastureland of the Nonsalm.
  • Here, the seating areas and the magnificent mountain scenery invite you to linger.
  • The view now stretches as far as the 2,506-metre-high Gilfert. In summer, you may also encounter cows here on the Nonsalm.
  • The route continues along the Panorama High Trail until you reach a stream crossing, where you turn right towards the Lafasteralm – Niederleger.
  • This is a great spot for a short break with a wonderful view. However, the Lafasteralm is privately owned and therefore not open to the public.
  • Via Kesselmöser and the Weerer Forest, the trail finally leads back to Hausstatt. Here, a stop at the Hüttegg is highly recommended.

    • It's a true pleasure to put away the sled after hiking upwards for 6 km (3.7 mi) and take a little rest on a bench in front of the cabins. Take a few minutes and enjoy the view and peace of this alpine wonderland! In Summer as well the seats invite you to stay for a little while.
