Particular attention should be paid to the uniquely ‘colourful’ spires of the parish church.

The small hill where the Rablhaus Museum and St Peter’s Church are located offers a magnificent vantage point with panoramic views.

Directions:Route description:
  • The walk starts at the parish church and follows the pavement eastwards for about 1.6 km until you reach the junction on the left leading into Schmalzgasse (follow the sign for ‘Teisslrunde’).
  • From there, follow the trail markings down into the valley. After joining the “Teisslweg”, turn left and follow the forest path towards the Rablhaus Museum or St Peter’s Church.
  • The route then takes you back along the local road “Kirchgasse” to the twin-towered parish church, our starting point.
If you fancy a slightly longer walk: From St Peter’s Church, walk uphill along the local road “Kirchgasse” and turn off at Kirchgasse 5 onto the forest path “Kröllerweg”. Passing the two old farmhouses near Kranzach, the tarmac road leads uphill to the main road. Turn left here and walk back to the starting point along the pavement.
