A relaxed hike leads from Rotholz along the historic Bible Trail through forests and across meadows up to the castle ruins with the Notburga Chapel. The varied route combines nature experiences with living culture and exciting history.

  • From the Gasthof Esterhammer car park along the signposted forest path
  • Past the contemplative sculptures to the ruins of Rottenburg Castle, with the Reconciliation Staircase, a nice rest area and the Notburga Chapel.
  • Return via the Notburga spruce, the largest spruce in Tyrol, then back along the same route to the starting point.
