Klangspuren Schwaz: Love is Louder - new music as a unifying force, from electronic and early music to world premieres and Persian tradition

From September 10 to 26, 2026, Klangspuren Schwaz invites you to experience the region around Schwaz and Innsbruck as a polyphonic resonance chamber for contemporary sounds under the motto Love is Louder. Inspired by Sam Durant's artwork of the same name, the slogan becomes the leitmotif of a program that sees music as a powerful response to our times - resistant, comforting and unifying. Under the artistic direction of Marco Blaauw, the festival spans an arc from electronic music and new sound worlds to early music and Persian tradition. The audience can expect numerous world premieres and diverse formats, from club concerts to intimate spaces for extremely quiet music.
