MISSA BREVIS - Silver Summer Festival Mass, Musikkollegium Schwaz

Mozart's Missa brevis (short mass) in G major is characterized by a lively folk melody with song-like themes

This is why it is also known as the "Pastoral Mass". The mass was already very popular during Mozart's lifetime and was considered "simple and noble".

Milena Oleschko (soprano), Barbara Franik (alto), Andreas Schmid (tenor), Michael Großlercher (bass) and Klemens Rafelsberger on the organ will perform. They are joined by the choir and orchestra of the Musikkollegium Schwaz under the direction of Walter Knapp.
