KLANGSPUREN SCHWAZ - OPENING CONCERT 2026
A silent dance piece, reminiscent sound spaces and quiet resistance music open the Klangspuren Festival 2026
The 2026 festival begins with a radical change of perspective: in the silent piece "Œhr" by Robin Hoffmann, listening itself becomes the protagonist, physically condensed by the dancer Edivaldo Ernesto. New sound spaces grow out of this silence: in "Die Wände haben Ohren" by Georges Aperghis, the SZentrum becomes a reminiscent resonating body. "A Sutured World" by composer Liza Lim lets the cello stitch the cracks of the present like a needle - vulnerable, resistant and quiet. On this evening, the festival motto "Love is Louder" does not begin with volume, but with the decision to make our time radically audible.
