Walk all the Lies Away - Silver Summer

Kunstraum Schwaz hike with Michael Höpfner from the Kellerjochbahn mountain station towards the Kellerjoch chapel

Walking, silence, imagination, disruption: Michael Höpfner will read from his own travel notes and from his Buchs at several places along the way. The notes were written during several solo expeditions on the Chang Tang Plateau in Tibet, the ascent of Gyaphel Ri near Lhasa, as well as selected passages from the Buch of conversations From Here to Tibet with the British walking artist Hamish Fulton and the joint Buch Walk all the Lies Away with the Romanian author Svetlana Carstean. On the way, we will immerse ourselves in the artist's way of working, who explores walking and makes the landscape his resonating space. The event is part of his solo exhibition at Kunstraum Schwaz, which can be seen until the beginning of August.

Note: Participation free of charge; please bring your own ticket for the Kellerjochbahn cable car; please bring sturdy shoes, equipment, water and a snack if necessary.
