Exhibition "ARTHUR SALNER"
Exhibition of the artist ARTHUR SALNER. The exhibition is open until 07.06.2026 Thu to Sun from 16-19
The Rabalderhaus dedicated an exhibition to the artist Arthur Salner, who was born in Galtür in 1956 and lives in Innsbruck, back in 2002. The current exhibition, organized to celebrate the artist's 70th birthday, builds on the works shown then and traces the arc of his work to the present day. The main focus is on his spatial paintings, which can be surrounded as three-dimensional objects or executed as murals. In these, Salner proves himself to be a virtuoso of what has characterized his entire oeuvre to date, namely the subtle handling of surface, space and color. In addition, his geometric approach to the human body, which he has completed in recent years, as well as three large-format graphic works are also included in the exhibition.
