Since her earliest childhood, she has been fascinated by drawing and already had the fixed idea of becoming a painter in kindergarten. This desire became her vocation. She completed a degree in art history and academic training in painting and illustration.
Her free time is also artistically influenced: she creates figures from various modeling materials and is a passionate cake baker.
Her works aim to put a smile on the viewer's face, take them on a visual journey of discovery and stimulate their imagination when the leaning houses come to life before their inner eye.

BEERIN Barbara Schubert
Born in Innsbruck in 1956, lives in Vomp
Barbara Schubert signs her pictures with Beerin, as she was called BEER in a previous life. She comes from a very artistically talented family, but had nothing to do with painting herself until she discovered the joy of capturing special life situations or facial expressions of her fellow human beings.
She studied oil painting at various art academies in Germany and abroad with distinguished lecturers, who encouraged her in her particular style and are still trying to perfect her use of color. She does not deal with any socially critical or political themes in her paintings; her message is merely humor, wit and fun.
