Once upon a time there was a sweet, hard-working girl called Rosemarie. She lived with her stepmother Kunz and her daughter Annemarie. One day, when she was spinning at a well, her bobbin fell into the water. When she went to fetch it, she bravely jumped after it and landed in a wonderful, different world.

This fairy tale teaches the values of diligence, politeness and kindness and shows how good behavior pays off in life, while laziness and unkindness are associated with negative consequences.
