Alpine cattle drive from the Eng to Schwaz

The traditional cattle drive through the silver town of Schwaz takes place on September 27, 2024. On the first day, the cows and their escorts make their way from the Eng via the Lamsenjochhütte through the Stallental valley to Fiecht. On the second day, the cows are traditionally decorated and then continue their journey from Fiecht via the underpass at the train station to the town square. From there they continue via Lahnbach (upper village) to St. Martin. The cows parade through the town at around 4 p.m.
