Schwaz Literature Forum: Reading by Maria Jansen

Inaugural reading by Maria Jansen, the new town clerk of Schwaz. The author reads from her novel-in-progress, "Ohne Frieda"

The Schwaz Literature Forum invites you to the inaugural reading by the new city writer, Maria Jansen. A graduate of the German Literature Institute in Leipzig, she will be living in Schwaz in October and November 2026 as the 38th city writer. She will present excerpts from her current novel project, “Ohne Frieda” (Without Frieda): an extremely empathetic, linguistically rich, and humorous text about the subtle shifts in language, intimacy, and memory in the face of farewell.

Admission to the event is free. No registration required.
