Colonial traces, urban sounds and live musicians transform the historic site into a soundscape

Composer Tamara Miller transforms the historic Rabalderhaus into a living soundscape between past and present. In her concert installation "Aqui nacen; poco importa dónde o cómo", traces of colonialism intertwine with today's soundscapes. The sounds of Latin American metropolises, música criolla and pop sounds mix from loudspeakers, while five musicians (voices, trumpets, drums) play islands of sound distributed throughout the room. Recorded footsteps and voices of the audience return changed - the house sounds a little different every time they pass through.
