Sustainability festival - Be part of the change

On May 30, the Meeting Zone in Jenbach will be a meeting place for everyone who cares about our environment. Under the motto "Become part of the change", the sustainability festival invites you to set an example together for a more conscious and sustainable lifestyle.

Look forward to a varied program with exciting insights and initiatives relating to sustainability. The Energy Agency Tyrol, the Wams association and the jen.buch market and school library will be on hand with information, activities and inspiration to encourage you to get involved.

A highlight awaits you from Klimabündnis Tirol:

The Mobile Bike Workshop will be on site - here you can learn how to repair bikes together. True to the motto "Give your bike a second chance", there is also a children's bike exchange, where used bikes are passed on and reused.

Little visitors are also well catered for: a colorful children's program with photo box, face painting, bouncy castle and handicrafts with Buch pages ensures fun and entertainment throughout the day.

Furthermore, regional products await you: from the Tyrolean organic herb farm to the Grießenböck apiary, the Moser fish farm to the Jenbach organic farm store, Jenbach farmers' wives and waste food cooking from Martina's cooking school - here you can taste and experience sustainability. Weltladen Schwaz will be showing us FairTrade products and there will also be upcycling from Seelenliebe and Verena Brandl. Take a look and get some ideas.

Exciting keynote speeches on the topic of sustainability can be found in the library.

• 10:30 - 11:00 "Throwing away was yesterday - how we consume more sustainably and keep resources in circulation" (Christian Leonhartsberger from the noamol - Re-Use Tirol association)
• 11:30 - 12:00 h "How sustainability can be achieved in Jenbach and in all areas of life" (Maria Legner from Klimabündnis Tirol and Turgay Kilicer from the market town of Jenbach)
• 13:00 - 13:30 h "Moser fish farm - regional and sustainable food production"

Please travel as environmentally friendly as possible, whether by public transport, bicycle or on foot. The event is being held as a Green Event and consciously focuses on sustainability in all areas.

The Jenbach band Herbie and the Teachers will provide the right atmosphere and musical accompaniment for the day of the event.
