Anras Brass - powerful brass sounds that combine tradition and passion in every note.

More than 30 years have passed since the first rehearsal in April 1992, the limbs are starting to ache, the gait is no longer as elegant and light as a feather, the hair is shedding at different speeds and Tom Waits' "I don't wonna grow up" is taking on an unwanted meaning for the child in the man.

But one thing has not changed: The fire and passion for good music, with a preference for brass instruments: Trumpet, horn, trombone , tuba.

The range is impressive: Classical, baroque, jazz, blues & swing, folk music. The lightness of being and routine (which you can't buy) make the ensemble a figurehead of the East Tyrolean brass scene.
