OPENING: Lea Abendstein Isabel Peterhans FLIRT

In the exhibition Flirt, Innsbruck-based artists Lea Abendstein (1993) and Isabel Peterhans (1986), who also works as an illustrator, experiment with a processual convergence of their respective artistic practices. The encounter between the two artistic identities becomes a flowing process, the essence of which comments on the subtle interpenetration of interpersonal and social relationship patterns.

With the exhibition, the two artists succeed in creating a creative exchange that fuses individual work with an immersive experience and playful experiment. The joint artistic practice is translated into a critical examination of our present by means of eco-philosophical and feminist references.

The exhibition was invited by Nadja Ayoub, the former director of Kunstraum Schwaz, and supervised by her successor Karin Pernegger.
