About the author:
Nava Ebrahimi, *1978 in Tehran, studied journalism and economics in Cologne. She received the Austrian Buch Prize for her debut in 2017 and the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 2021. She is a columnist for the Süddeutsche Zeitung and lives in Graz.
