Between heaven and earth:

Spirituality, religion, philosophy, secular ethics? Based on the Far Eastern teachings of Siddharta Gautama, the exhibition invites visitors to engage with the ever-present questions of being human: What is a good life? What do I stand up for? What does community mean to me?"

An essential aspect of the exhibition idea is to promote a fundamentally respectful and tolerant culture of encounter. This is to be achieved, among other things, through the neutral view of a wealth of world views represented by the exhibits. They are explained sensitively and are intended to mirror our own understanding of the world. We particularly want to encourage all visitors, and especially children, to actually create their own, very concrete world views.
