A play about returning home without a home. About being a stranger without belonging. About the loss of identity. About being alone

Beckmann returns after three years as a prisoner of war, physically and emotionally scarred. At home, he learns that his wife now has another man at her side. After an unsuccessful suicide attempt, Beckmann now searches for his place in this society in a kind of nightmare journey, but no one helps him. Again and again he is rejected, again and again he is left standing outside the door, excluded, superfluous, unloved.
