"Laternentraum" - Introduction to "Outside the Door"

As an introduction to the play "Draußen vor der Tür", there will be a staged reading with music called "Laternentraum". This was created in 2021 to mark the 100th birthday of Wolfgang Borchert under the direction of Michael Rudigier.

Works were selected from various phases of Borchert's oeuvre: early love poems, short stories about war experiences and his late, haunting manifestos against forgetting and violence.

The reading is accompanied by newly composed music by guitarist Felix Kremsner.

"Laternentraum" thus impressively expresses the timeless topicality of Borchert's pacifist message.
