When the streets of Schwaz town center are bathed in the glow of lights and the scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds fills the air, it's that time again: the Schwaz Advent craft market opens its doors.

On four dates on 6/7/12 and 13 December, the town center is transformed into an atmospheric setting full of creativity, warmth and Christmas encounters. Parallel to the Advent market on Maximilianplatz, regional artisans invite you to discover unique handmade items ranging from artistic woodwork, ceramics and jewelry to textiles and fine delicacies from Tyrol.

Each piece tells its own story, made with love, patience and craftsmanship. Visitors will find special gifts with character, far removed from mass-produced goods and ideal for experiencing Advent in a conscious and decelerated way.

Of course, there is also plenty to enjoy: mulled wine, punch and local delicacies provide cozy warmth and invite you to linger amidst the historic facades.

The Schwaz craft market is therefore much more than just a shopping spree - it is a meeting place for all the senses, combining traditional Tyrolean craftsmanship with the festive atmosphere of Advent.
