Reverie - Danced dreams

A poetic evening of a special kind awaits the audience with Reverie - Danced Dreams, the latest creation by internationally acclaimed choreographer Enrique Gasa Valga and his renowned Limonada Dance Company.

In three atmospherically dense choreographies, a dance journey unfolds through dream worlds, emotional depths and the eternal cycle of becoming and passing away.

1. Death and the Maiden

A powerful yet fragile exploration of transience unfolds to Franz Schubert's haunting String Quartet in D minor. The dancers move between light and shadow, closeness and farewell in a touching dance about beauty, finiteness and the silent presence of death.

2. Mareas

Mareas - Spanish for tides - is a sensual, archaic work about cyclical changes and inner processes of transformation. Inspired by nature and the constant change of the seasons, movement and emotion merge into an expressive panorama of human elemental forces.

3. Après la pluie

With subtle restraint and lyrical depth, this piece explores the silence after the storm to Erik Satie's spherical Gnossiennes. In a delicate interplay of memory and hope, the human being is revealed in his touching vulnerability and his ability to dream.
