The works of the eight selected composers created especially for Studio Dan as part of the Composers Lab:inside will be premiered on this evening. For one week, the participants worked intensively with Lithuanian composer Justė Janulytė, Austrian composer Johannes Maria Staud and the Ensemble Studio Dan under the direction of Lin Liao on their musical ideas and their development. In an inspiring environment, the compositions were subjected to a reality check during the master class and further developed, always accompanied by the expertise of the international lecturers, creating an unusual listening situation for the audience: without well-known names in the program and without detailed descriptions of the works, listeners are invited to engage with each individual piece with an open mind. The final concert of the Composers Lab 2025 invites you to experience the diversity and innovative power of young composers up close.
