Schwaz Culture Mile

Museum open day

On the national holiday, October 26, all museums and other cultural institutions will be open continuously from 11:00 to 18:00 with free admission. Exceptions are those exhibition areas that can only be accessed with a guided tour. All guided tours are offered free of charge.

The cultural mile starts at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Franciscan monastery, which has been an important spiritual center for centuries and has also been a place of art and culture for many years.

The exhibition venues can be easily reached on foot or by vintage bus. The Grand Austrian Tattoo in Schwaz City Park forms the traditional conclusion to this extensive daytime cultural program.
